At Extra Mile Basketball NJ, we specialize in elite private and small-group basketball training for youth ages 7–18. Our mission is to develop champions and versatile athletes through all-positions (or positionless) skill development, mental resilience coaching, leadership training, and personalized mentorship—preparing them to excel both on and off the court, while ensuring each training session is fun, engaging, and memorable.

What We Do

We offer specialized private and small-group basketball training, enrichment programs, and seasonal camps tailored for various age groups and skill levels. Our age group divisions are ages 7-10, ages 11-13 and ages 14-18. Our focus on all-positions (or positionless) basketball ensures that every player develops comprehensive skills across all positions, fostering adaptability and a deeper understanding of the game. We do this to help players compete and win at the highest level.

What To Expect

All-Positions Skill Development
- Every athlete will train across all positions according to our 10 most essential skills for youth basketball development; Footwork & Balance, Ballhandling, Speed & Agility, Strength & Conditioning, Shooting, Passing, Screening, Rebounding, Whole Offense, Whole Defense.

Personalized Attention in Small-Group Setting
- With limited group sizes per session, coaches are able to give focused feedback, address individual needs, and ensure every player makes consistent, measurable progress.

Leadership and Character Building
- Training sessions include intentional moments of character coaching, promoting accountability, discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic on and off the court.

Mental Performance and Resilience Coaching
